Here is a look at what’s on deck for Game week:

  • Sunday, March 29: Players visit the local Ronald McDonald House to learn the true meaning behind the Games — giving back.
  • Monday, March 30: Players visit the Miami Seaquarium and compete in the POWERADE Jam Fest.
  • Tuesday, March 31: Lance Stephenson Jr. announces his college decision at Media Day; Players are honored at an awards banquet.
  • Wednesday, April 1: The big event — the McDonald’s All American Girls and Boys Games.

    How can you have a dunk contest when you don’t have one of the most amazing dunkers in the history of Michigan High School basketball there? Doug Anderson is 6’5, can touch the top of the backboard and had many games with 7,8,9 dunks. He was the leading scorer for #2 Kalamazoo Central team that lost in the state finals to Detroit Pershing. What a sham. You should be embarrassed for not doing your homework and your doing the fans of this great sport a disservice for not including him in the contest.

    He got so high on a dunk in the Finals that he had to dunk his head to keep from hitting the backboard.
